Today, I didn't make my bed until 3:30.
Instead, I nursed and cuddled my boy.
Today, I didn't do any yardwork or housework or laundry.
Instead, I walked to a friend's house, had lunch and played with her sweet toddler
Today, I did not fuss about thank-you cards (too much) or sort through Simon's "loot".
Instead, I went to a mom's group and showed off my baby.
Today, I shifted my priorities.
My little guy was very content and is now very tuckered out.
Lesson learned: Mommy and Simon need to get out more; it's good for both of us!
