Last spring, I was pretty down about leaving my inner-city high school. I liked my job there and I was sad to leave. It all worked out and I love my new bedroom community school.
I'm still on a temporary contract... that ends in June. An unknown autumn in the future.
This afternoon, I got a call offering me a continuing contract at the school I'm at. YEAH! This is job security in teacher-land. This is continuity in my work life. I'm sooo pumped!
